Cutwork on the front, strap on the back, laces in between - this is the cutest women's shoe we've ever seen.
The surface and the footbed are made of Nubuc (a very fine version of suede) and feel like chamois, and the sole is the fabulous Aris Allen Raw Sole; awesome to dance on.
The heel is 2" and the platform is 1/2" (making the heel feel like it's only 1 1/2"). The toe hole is 7/8" across (purposely small enough that your toes won't stick through and get kicked by bad dancers!).
Sole is flexible to help you feel the floor. Great swing dance shoes because of the cute styling, slideable sole, and the comfort you expect in a swing shoe (that's going to be on the dance floor all night).

The Aris Allen Raw Sole is made from hard leather with a raw finish. It feels like velvet and acts a lot like Chrome Leather (suede) - it allows you to spin and slide, and still control the floor.
