Women's Wide Leg Dance Pants

$34.95

Great little low rise pants. These are great dance pants AND you'll wear them to the office, parties, anytime you have to look great.

Fabric is a Gabardine weave and are thin enough not to be hot, but thick enough to hold their shape.

Machine wash them 2-3 times before you hem them.

Very easy care Polyester - Machine Washable!

NOTE: THESE PANTS ARE LOW RISE! The "actual top of pants" measurement on these will not match the measurement of your natural waist! So measure below your navel - not right at it. (all measurements are approximate)

VERY TALL WOMEN TAKE NOTE: The inseam (inside leg length) is 38" on all sizes and is UNFINISHED - plenty of fabric there to hem regularly or make nice cuffs no matter how short or tall you are.

MEASUREMENTS:
(taken after machine washing - so they're a smitch smaller than unwashed)
ALL MEASUREMENTS ARE APPROXIMATE.

*The "Rise" is the distance from the bottom of the crotch to the top of the waist.

If the top is just a touch too big, just sew a tuck at the top in the middle of the back when you hem them. They'll fit like a dream.

Too cheap to pay a tailor to hem these but don't know how to sew? (this describes the entire staff here)...

How to Hem on your Home Sewing Machine:
(written by someone who can BARELY use a sewing machine - see Chicken Method below if you don't own a sewing machine)

1. Put your new pants on (wash them first)
2. Put your dance shoes on
3. Stand in front of a mirror and have a friend put safety pins at the exact point where you want your hem to stop - use about 8 pins
4. Fold them under and iron a sharp crease at top and bottom of hem
5. Pin them all around with safety pins - then put them on and dance around - then look in the mirror... everything perfect?
6. If so, fold the extra fabric under - cut some off if you're really short, re-iron, then sew all the way around on both legs (Use same color thread as pants)

Above is the CHEAP/DON'T KNOW HOW TO SEW way - and is provided as a public service - not a guarantee that it is the BEST way - NOTE: we will not take back any pair that you screwed up following these directions!!!!

Chicken Method:

- Do steps 1-5
- Stop. You're done. Go dancing.
(we've seen 3 women out dancing with little silver pins sticking through their hems... so don't pretend you've never done this! One had cuffs.)

Cuff Method:

- Pay a tailor.

(Think you only need one pair? Think Capris!!! Which, because they're wide-leg capris, will only look good with wedges or heels - kinda dorky with sneakers)
