The color of these is just like that of olive green wool vintage skirts & jackets you see so often in vintage clothing stores, but unlike wool, they're not scratchy and are quite soft to the touch.

Very easy care Polyester - Machine Washable! We washed them in cold water and found they were perfect right out of the dryer - so you will not have to iron them before going out. (we discovered that they do best on a cool "permanent press" dryer setting.)

"Bias Cut" means that the weave is diagonal when they sew it together - which makes it hang like silk curtains. (all Thirties' gowns hang like a dream because pretty much everything was bias cut back then!)
