Aris Allen Black & White 1940s Peep-toe Heeled Mesh Oxford |
- How are these adorable black & white peep-toe mesh heeled Oxford swing shoes supposed to fit?
After trying the spectator peep-toe heeled mesh oxford dance shoes on about 50 women (they danced in them, too), they reported that these shoes run true to size. If you have a high in-step, you should consider ordering a 1/2 size larger than your normal shoe size. The mesh has a little "give" to it and women reported that these fit regular and wide feet just fine. Women with very narrow feet thought it was loose in the front.
- How tall and wide is the heel?
The heels on these black & white mesh heeled Oxfords are approximately 2" inches (5.08cm) tall and the base of the heel is 1.50" inches (3.81cm) wide to keep you stable. As an added bonus, the heel base is finished in suede leather sole to prevent any abrupt friction on the dancefloor.
- What type of sole is equipped on these gorgeous heeled spectator Oxfords?
These black & white mesh peep-toe Oxfords feature durable, suede leather soles which are designed for dancers of all skills levels. The suede soles are flexible without losing support and balance. To maintain the suede leather (or make it less "zippy"), we recommend using a fine, brass wire brush on the soles to remove the grit and dirt.
- How comfortable are these black & white peep-toe heeled Oxfords?
Aris Allen's are admired world-wide for their amazing comfort and these beautiful heeled mesh peep-toe Oxfords are no exception. The insoles are well padded with highly supportive foam which help reduce the impact on your feet when dancing for long periods of time. The insoles are non-removable, but people have inserted their own orthotics with no issues.
