WHY THE FREE BOTTLE OF BLACK SHOE POLISH??? They're brand new!?! For some reason (probably to make them look nicer) these were coated with some kind of waxy finish over the leather upper part... Which when you come up on your toes makes light marks on the finish (which you can only see in bright light... not easy to see at a dance!). Because of this, we're reducing the price a bit for this first batch. (we showed them to a dozen dancers who said, "So what? You can hardly see it." but we only sell perfection for full price - anything else goes on sale!) SIZING TIPS (IN SIZING TRIALS, WE FOUND MOST FIT A HALF SIZE SMALLER THAN THE SIZE THEY WORE IN THE ARIS ALLEN CAPTOE): We find that these run about a half size too big. So it's probable you'll need to subtract .5 (half a size) from your usual men's dress shoe size. (not athletic shoe size). Women: To estimate what you size should get in these shoes: just go down one and a half sizes - Women's 6 = Men's 4, 6.5 = 4.5, 7 = 5, 7.5 = 5.5, 8 = 6, 8.5 = 6.5, 9 = 7, 9.5 = 7.5, 10 = 8, etc. For international sizing we recommend that you use our Sizing Chart to help you make a decision.
