"Long have I searched in vain for that last piece to pull off the 'casual tie' look. Some cotton skinny ties I tried were too stiff, too formal. "You will get lots of complements on these shoes. They are adorable and I just love them. The shoe is absolutely comfortable. The heel is two inches high which is easy to walk in (great for the office). The insole is lined with a reddish pink suede and the insole is padded with lots of cushioning. On the bottom of the shoe is suede in black. The shoe strap is easy to get on and off and is adjustable. If you love retro styles and comfort, these are the way to go."

You may be wondering if you should spend $70 on shoes when you normally dance lindy hop in disposable $15 Keds. I know I did... until I bought these. "I ordered this shoe a couple of months ago and couldn't be happier! The shoe runs true to size, as advertised, though you might consider ordering a half size up if you want to be able to wear thick socks with your shoes (I don't wear socks with mine at all). Because of the mesh and laces, these shoes should be able to fit most foot shapes, although you may have trouble if your heels are wide. My feet are narrow in the heels and wide across the ball of the foot -- I had no problems. Thus far, my shoes show no signs of wear. The heels have snap-on plastic soles and come with a replacement pair (the rest of the sole is leather). With the wear I've seen, I don't expect to have to replace them any time soon. A good buy and exactly what I expected!"

Most professional/competition-level leads wear either the white or black Aris Allen captoes and some follows do too!
